Music For Pree

So, while staring at the header for this page and contemplating what my colleague was thinking when choosing the name (I think he huffs copious amounts of glue) I realized that I am allowed to post random stuff I like. Now, while I do have a reputation as somewhat of a hater (hate hate hate!) there are some things I do like. One thing I have been into recently is this band called Pree. Now if you are not into female vocalists and/or prog-folk (a term I just made up), scroll down and save your time. Otherwise, it is a group that you should check out. They are a DC based band that just released their first EP on Kora Records. One of the members/vocalists is from the DC band Le Loup, whose debut album recieved really good reviews and is also solid. Really nice melody, and the vocals are pretty sweet too.You can check out a few songs on their MySpace page, and their entire EP entitled “A Chopping Block” is available on iTunes.
